New Years Wedding at San Ysidro Ranch

We are excited to share our first wedding from 2014! Here at La Fete Weddings we LOVE doing the large, beautiful and luxurious events, but we also get just as excited about the small & intimate weddings too! This couple from Texas was so wonderful to work with. Misti loved our designs online and said to us “Here are my colors, and I completely trust that you will make our wedding classic and beautiful for me!”  It was a New Years Wedding at San Ysidro Ranch, and the weather could not have been more perfect. It was a gorgeous sunny day for a wedding which took place in the Wine Cellar and the ceremony was held in the garden in front of the fireplace. This location is so warm and inviting, especially during this time of year.  Misti loved the combination of romantic red mixed with a touch of sparkle in the linens for the New Years wedding.

Misti’s daughters were a delight; it was such a precious moment to watch them walk her down the aisle to her groom, Michael. The gorgeous blooms were arranged by Amy of Ambient Event Design. Misti loved them so much she filled her cottage with them and enjoyed the arrangements for the rest of the week at the Ranch. Colette provided her own dishes and red glassware that were passed down by her grandmother to add a special and unique touch to the table top. We designed custom menus for each place setting with Barbara from Let’s Party.
Melissa Musgrove was the perfect photographer. She captured their love, joy, and all of the details that made that day so special for them. Thank you Melissa!
Shortly after the wedding we received a very nice email from the groom:
” I must admit I was a bit reluctant to hire you because the wedding was small in relation to head count. What I figured out through what you did with our wedding is that no matter how big or small. there is still a lot to pulling them off problem free. You did a wonderful job and it greatly helped with Misti’s stress load.”
