Our Design at the Luxe Linen Launch Event at Vibiana

Last year we were completely blown away by the beauty that took place at the Luxe Linen Launch event at Vibiana located in downtown Los Angeles. So its safe to say that when we were asked to design a space featuring one of Luxe Linen’s new tablecloths- we were thrilled and honored to be a part of such a fabulous event!

We began designing our display with Camellia Floral Design and we were thrilled to be using a color palette that we don’t often get to work with. Inspired by an alfresco dinner set in a romantic backyard of a Montecito estate- Revelry Event Designers assembled this stunning large wooden arbor where we suspended large chandeliers with soft wood beads & romantic peach colored chiffon drapery. Then Camille added her whimsical flowers in a way that looked as if they were growing throughout the space. Party Pleasers provided layers of seagrass rugs and their unique terra cotta and copper place settings to add the perfect finishing touches.

We’d like to extend an extra special thank you to the fabulous team of professionals who made this vision come to life! This includes: Camellia Floral Design, Revelry Event Design, Luxe Linens, Party Pleasers, Calligraphy Katrina, High Voltage Lighting, Vibiana, Rayce PR, Natura Macrame, and Brian Leahy for the absolutely gorgeous images of our design. We were beyond thrilled to be included in this fabulous event and were incredibly overwhelmed by the large attendance & sweet compliments about our design. Luxe Linen – Thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of this magical evening.

Here is the beautiful video of the full event put together by Lin & Jirsa:

Rustic Barn Rehearsal Dinner

When we began planning the wedding for our clients Alex and Alyssa, we started by touring their property and listening to their vision. Then we ventured down into the barn… It was truly love at first site, and we knew we needed to throw Alex and Alyssa a rustic barn themed rehearsal dinner. Some spaces just speak to you, and this was one of them. Complete with 3 giant wrought iron chandeliers running down the center of the barn and stunning corrals & fixtures- we were dying to dress this place up! We introduced the clients to these darling distressed farm tables at Town & Country then chose a fun “bandana” patterned table runner from La Tavola. And to top it all off- Mindy Rice added so much cheer to the tables with her eclectic mix of sunflowers & rusty lanterns.

Each place setting was finished with a mini cowbell tied around the napkin (which the guests could ring throughout the evening) and these fabulous copper handled flatware from Town & Country Event Rentals!

This rustic barn rehearsal dinner was filled with toasts, laughter & tears and once the party had ended we shuttled these lucky guests down to The Wine Cask for a delightful welcome party with the rest of the invited wedding guests! A special thank your to our incredible team who made this night possible: Duo Catering, Images by Lighting, Town & Country Event Rentals, Mindy Rice, La Tavola Fine Linens, and photos by the talented Yvette Roman Photography.

La Fete Weddings’ Citrus themed bridal shower has been featured on Destination I Do Magazine’s Blog

We are thrilled to announce that our work has been featured on Destination I Do Magazine’s blog today!!!  They put together a gorgeous selection of bright oranges, pinks and yellows  just in time for summer. For more citrus themed inspiration click here to see the full feature.

Citrus themed bridal showers and weddings are a fresh and fun way to add some color into your special day! Adding in pops of yellow accented by succulents and milk glass instantly makes a party feel cheerful. Adding fresh fruit into you displays or centerpieces not only looks amazing but smells great too! Try adding a lemonade station to your next wedding or event, we guarantee it will be a hit!

Backyard Bridal Shower

We had the honor of hosting a lovely backyard bridal shower for a dear friend of ours. When we first began dreaming of what this party might look like, we were inspired by the gorgeous Tribal Thread Linen by La Tavola. We loved the color theme of yellows and blues and began designing around the idea. Here is the inspiration board that Kaitlin had originally put together before the event:
And now, I am very pleased to share these gorgeous images from Michael & Anna Costa Photography with you of the finished product. It is truly amazing to see our designs come to life, especially when I feel we have really captured our vision.
A very special thank you goes out to Nico Designs for providing us with such abundant and lovely flower arrangements. We would also like to thank Michael & Anna Costa for sharing these stunning photos!

Summer Loving Inspiration

We have always been head over heels for the “Dandelion” Table Linen from La Tavola! So I created this inspiration board to show what La Fete would do with this fun table design!  I love the contrast of the Grey, Yellow and Turquoise and think this look would be perfect for an outdoor brunch or bridal shower!
