When Colette Lopez founded La Fete Weddings, it seemed the natural evolution of the things she truly loved: design, entertaining and love. Years later, her daughter has joined her and their chemistry sings of a match made in heaven. The mother-daughter team laugh together, shop together, work together and seem so closely connected that they finish each other’s sentences- jumping in excitedly when talk turns to design and inspiration. It is, after all, their specialty.

Their blog is to inspire and show you what they have created for their clients, and also what they can do for you. La Fete believes that each wedding should be as unique as the people getting married. They desire to create events that reflect each couples personalities and taste. Working with Meghan & Brian was truly a dream come true. Meghan knew what she liked from the start and that made planning with her so much fun! We worked together to create a wedding day that not only reflected her own personal decorating style, but that embellished & elevated the decor on the private estate where the wedding took place.
