Modern Wedding at The El Encanto

Modern Wedding at The El Encanto 150 150 La Fete Weddings

The El Encanto is one of the most breathtaking locations to hold a wedding. With their incredibly unique ceremony garden which surrounds the lily pond, the photo opportunities are endless, and the views of Santa Barbara are spectacular. Its no wonder our bride Kimberly fell in love with it when we first toured the property (with hard hats) before the hotel had officially re-opened!

Kimberly and Paul planned their modern wedding at the El Encanto all the way from Korea! We actually only met with Paul once & Kimberly twice. They had simple and sophisticated taste, and really wanted to incorporate  lots of water elements along with the texture of fish scales. All of the paper products and invitations were custom designed and each one was handmade by the Groom (aside from the lazer cutting which was done in Korea). The textures of the linens brought in the fish-scale patterns and textures and the unique floral arrangements from NLC Productions tied everything together perfectly. We also had a lot of fun creating the water table filled with gold fish for the escort card display! The day was beautifully captured by the talented Ashleigh Taylor Photography who never disappoints!

Lauren and Edison: The Four Seasons Biltmore Wedding

Lauren and Edison: The Four Seasons Biltmore Wedding 150 150 La Fete Weddings

Lauren and Edison were some of the sweetest clients we have ever had the privilege of working with. From the moment we began planning their Four Seasons Biltmore wedding, they trusted our every opinion and that makes our job so pleasant! Their wedding was truly sophisticated in every way. We designed the table tops with mixed textures of table linens accompanied by a variety of different flower arrangements from Cody Floral Design. Then we added a ton of candles & wrought iron candleabras and when it all came together the room was magical. A very special thank you goes to Melissa Musgrove Photography for capturing all of these stunning images of their Four Seasons Biltmore wedding. Stephanie and Andre’s Wedding at the Four Seasons Biltmore

Stephanie and Andre’s Wedding at the Four Seasons Biltmore 150 150 La Fete Weddings

The wedding that was held in honor of Stephanie and Andre was such a wonderfully personal and unique occasion. We started the day with a Hindu ceremony to incorporate Andre’s family traditions, and it was spectacular! Seriously, how amazing does she look in her Sari?! Everyone in Andre’s family played a role in this intimate ceremony whether it was playing an instrument, helping to get the bride ready, or setting up the different ceremony elements under the mandap.

Right after the Hindu ceremony ended, we brought in a full hair and make up team to switch her into her traditional bridal attire. It was so special to see her all dressed up in two completely different ways. Her personality and joy shows so beautifully throughout these photos by BB Photography.

The Bride hand painted a stunning orchid design which was her fathers favorite flower, which we incorporated in all of her invitation suite. Above you will see  the stunning programs that we had waiting for the guests attending the second ceremony. Further down you will see the same orchid design on her menu cards.

Tricia Fountaine designed all of the flower arrangements, and each piece was spectacular and unique. We loved working with her on this event!

The bride wanted a modern and contemporary design for her reception and loved the color red. We introduced the turquoise and she fell in love with color combination. The evening could not have been more breathtaking along the coastline of the Four Seasons Biltmore, such a wonderful location for a wedding and reception.

Sneak Peak- Intimate Romance at the San Ysidro Ranch

Sneak Peak- Intimate Romance at the San Ysidro Ranch 150 150 La Fete Weddings

We wanted to share our table top design from an elaborate yet small & intimate wedding at the San Ysidro Ranch. This enchanting wedding reception took place inside the wine cellar, and the ceremony was held right outside in the garden in front of the fireplace. We designed chocolate menus for each of the 32 guests, as well as custom lace toppers for each of the 3 tables. We can’t wait to share more images from this magical day!

Simplicity at Bacara Resort

When you are surrounded by so much natural beauty at the Bacara Resort & Spa, it is not necessary to overemphasize the decor at your wedding. We loved the structure design that the in house florist designed, it complimented the bridesmaids dresses, yet did not take away from the stunning backdrop of the pacific coastline.
A Special Thank you to Nikki Ryan Photography for providing us with these incredible pictures!

Oceanfront Bliss at the DoubleTree

I love it when couples trust us and go with some of the ideas we come up with from the design and colors to the intimate details.  JJ and Joe were so fun to work with~
On this wedding we started with wanting to bring the color of the Pacific Ocean into the plaza at the Fess Parkers Doubletree.  We chose a beautiful teal blue colored linen with two different elegant textures and iridescence. The mocha fabric overhead added the soft romantic feeling and provided some shade for the guests from the Summer sun. After dark the rod iron candle chandeliers were the perfect touch.
JJ and Joe met at a club downtown, and so we decided how fun it would be to put the whole wedding party and their dates/spouses at a bar height table with stools.  The flowers were to be romantic and fluffy with gardenia’s one of JJ’s favorite flowers.  The Church Our Lady of  Mt. Carmel was the perfect setting for their intimate ceremony.
The McCleod tartan is yellow, black with a touch of red~ so with JJ being a school teacher we decided how fun it would be to do escort/favors with the double stick tape, which had exactly their McCleod tartan pattern on it, This design was used on their programs and grooms and groomsmen’s ties and pocket squares.  We also hired a bagpiper to play at the end of the recessional for them.

They danced and had the best night ever on the perfect Summer night in the Plaza in Santa Barbara.
